CardanoFly is an art project I started to help me learn more about Cardano and prove to my boss that I could turn his garbage into crypto. He gave me the side eye so I loaded up a bunch of random junk from the bins and got started.
Around the same time, the monarchs started absolutly wrecking my milkweed plants so I took the caterpillars as hostages and stole all their secrets.. No seriously though some birds were picking them off so we bought a net to keep them safe.
After that I could see only one thing as I dug into the garbage, and so CardanoFly was born.
The milkweed plants came from the Florida Native Butterfly Society. They had a greenhouse right down the street from my apartment where they grew the plants and raised the butterflies. Around mid 2023 the property was sold so they were forced to shut down and move.
CardanoFly wouldn't exsist if they hadnt sold us the milkweed. 90% of the ₳ collected from the CardanoFly Caterpillars NFT sales will go to the Florida Native Buttefly Society.
